How this tool classifies your monitor

Measured hole spacing is matched to the nearest standard VESA pattern (75x75, 100x100, 100x200/200x100, or 200mm-step patterns like 200x200 and 400x400), per the VESA FDMI specification. Weight is checked against the published maximum for that pattern class — see our VESA standards guide for the full reference table and sourcing.

Important limits of this tool

This checks the VESA interface classification only — it does not check any specific arm's weight rating, which is usually lower than the VESA maximum
Manufacturing tolerance means your measurement may be off by a millimeter or two — that's normal and still matches the nearest standard size
Always confirm against your monitor's actual spec sheet where available — this tool is a measurement-based estimate, not a manufacturer lookup

To verify/update periodically: weight classifications reflect the published VESA FDMI specification as of 2026; individual arm products may rate lower than the VESA maximum for their interface class — always check the specific arm's own weight rating too.
